He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jarvis and Nellie Jarvis (Masteller); his wife Sandra Jarvis; his grandson Jeremy Altman; his siblings, Vernon Jarvis, Hazel Patterson, Mary Heyl, Bernard Jarvis, Elizabeth Cretsinger, Velma McCullough, Flossie Wulkow, William Jarvis and Thelma Lietz; and his nephew Richard Jarvis.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Jarvis of Sac City, IA, Myrna Lumsden (Michael) of Roanoke, VA and Julie Howes (Phillip) of Sac City, IA; his grandchildren, Zebadiah Howes (Thuy) and Michael Howes (Julie) of Indianola, IA; his great grandchildren, Kaeyleigh and Kaiden Howes of Indianola, IA; his grandson Christopher Lumsden of Sac City, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Marge Jarvis of Sac City, IA, Fred Scheffler (Mary) of Sac City, IA, Eugene Scheffler (Diane) of Manson, IA, Donald Scheffler (Florence) of Boise, ID, Frances Schettler (Marv) of Storm Lake, IA and Shirley Bales of Ida Grove, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family members, and friends.
