She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Frank and Harlyn Frank (Druivenga); her sons, Steven McConnell and Scott McConnell; her husband Preston Stout; and her siblings, Jim Frank and Frances Frank.
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Julie McConnell of Spirit Lake, IA and Patricia McConnell of Phoenix, AZ; her stepchildren, Paul Stout (Lou) of Westminster, CO and Jane Henely (Stout) of Lake City, IA; her grandchildren, Phil McConnell (Sheryl Williams), Corey McConnell and Ashley McConnell; her stepgrandchildren, Sarah Linn (Devin), Spencer Stout, Grant Stout, Lee Henely and Joel Henely (Liz); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Duncan Linn, Hannah, Lori Jo and Kodi Henely; her close friend Butch Quail of Sac City, IA; and her pets, Sawyer, Beau, Jack and Dale. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church (521 Park Ave, Sac City, IA 50583). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
