It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Brown of Sac City, Iowa, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Brown to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, F. Willard Brown and Edna Foster Brown; and his brother-in-law Lyle Gross. He is survived by: his sister Harriett Gross of Manning; his niece Lori (Ken Maynard) of Waterloo; his nephews, Randy (Pam Gross) of Baytown and Kyle Gross of Olney, Texas.; and also, Jennifer Peacemaker, Joey Gross and Michael Gross.
In 2006, Richard was named a Melvin Jones Fellow by Lions Club International Foundation. This is the Foundation's highest honor and is given in recognition of commitment to humanitarian service.
