It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Laursen of Sac City, Iowa, who passed away on October 31, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Paup and Dorothy Paup (Anderson); her husband Francis Laursen; her former husband Cliff Scheffler; her sister Donna; and her siblings-in-law, George MacDonald, David Halsey, Ivan Laursen (Jean), Bob Scheffler, Elsie Helmbrecht and Sandy Jarvis.
She is survived by: her children, Jens Kim, Joyce Kitty, Joel Kent, Jay Kelly, Kim Laursen (Pat) of Sac City, IA, Kitty Drey (Dale), Kent Laursen (Nancy) of Springfield, MO and Kelly Laursen (Betty) of Sac City, IA; her grandchildren, John Laursen (Laura), Jenny Jevne (Josh), Brian Drey (Brandy), Melissa Drey, Brent Drey (Marie), Kyle Laursen, Kollin Laursen, Karl Laursen, Cheston Laursen (Stephanie) and Colton Laursen; her great grandchildren, Grace Frager, Addison Daisy, Meredith, Barron Drey, Margot Laursen, Nora, George and Henry Jevne; her sisters, Rita Halsey and Jane Higgs; and her siblings-in-law, Fred Scheffler (Mary), Gene Scheffler (Diane), Don Scheffler (Florence), Frances Schettler (Marv) and Shirley Bales. She is also survived by mom and grandma who loved attending her kids' and grandkids.
