She was predeceased by: her parents, John Duffy and Genevieve Duffy (Harrington); her husband Don Jacobsen of Mary's Catholic Church; her son Jim Jacobsen; her granddaughter-in-law Brigitte Jacobsen; her son-in-law Jim Gordon; and her siblings, Byron, Gregory, Paul Duffy and Eileen Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Gordon of Iowa City, IA, Jean Zimmerman (Dave) of Emmetsburg, IA, Joe Jacobsen (Renae) of Sac City, IA and Nancy Laursen (Kent) of Springfield, MO; and her daughter-in-law Vickie Jacobsen of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home (1120 W Main St, Sac City, IA 50583). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (621 S 12th St, Sac City, IA 50583).
