It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Elaine Mauer of Sac City, Iowa, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Quail and Mabel Quail (Shadle); her mother-in-law Violet Mauer; and her siblings, William Dorrh Quail (Mildred), Harold Quail (Elva Mae), Leonard Quail (Joyce), Gerald Quail, Doris Stoffregen (Edwin), Phyllis Lucht (Maynard) and Patricia Ernst (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her sisters, Sally Anglum of Sac City, IA, Josephine Schmidt of Lake View, IA and Wilma Straus of Early, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Virginia Holland of Golden, CO and Muriel Kerr. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other extended family members and friends.
