He was predeceased by: his parent Helen Bowman (Bing); his parents-in-law, Vernon "Dick" and Ruby Smith; his son John Crow; and his siblings, Gary Bowman and Betty Albertson (Roger).
He is survived by: his wife Sandi Bowman of Sac City, IA; his daughters, Shelley Vauble (Terry) of Sac City, IA, Shannon Bowman (Kevin Lohff) of Sac City, IA, Connie Cruz (Paul) of Phoenix, AZ and Nicole Helmer (Jeff) of Durango, CO; his grandchildren, Derrick Kraft (Brooke), Casey Kraft (Kambry), Beau Kraft (Tanner), Francis, Aerian, Angel, Antega Cruz, Leah Crow and Megan Crow (Devin); his great grandchildren, Casen and Joseph Kraft; his sisters-in-law, Isabellita Bowman and Sue Hoover (Wayne) of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his close friend Donnie Rehm. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
