He was predeceased by: his father John L. Wirtjers; his sister Roxanne Wirtjers; and his grandparents, Fred "Buster", Christine Wirtjers, Derrell M. and Janice Lynch.
He is survived by: his mother Patty Wirtjers (Lynch) of Sac City, IA; his former wife Renae Ringgenberg; his children, Brandi Wirtjers of Sac City, IA, Buster Wirtjers (Jodi) of Lake City, IA and Blake Wirtjers (Teresa) of Sac City, IA; his grandchildren, Bailey Blass, Riley, Kaley, Coltley Timmerman, Oakley Wirtjers, Kaden Ramthun, Kyla, Krusher Wirtjers, Skyler and Fletcher Wirtjers; and his siblings, Jody Wirtjers of Sac City, IA, Jimmy Wirtjers of Sac City, IA, Jeff Wirtjers of Sac City, IA, Angie Kreft (Jason) of Sac City, IA and Beth Wirtjers (Kristen) of Sac City, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
