It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard Mentzer of Sac City, Iowa, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Benjamin and Marion Evaline Mentzer (Parker); his wife Betty Mentzer; his son Wayne Everett Mentzer; and his siblings, Homer, Russell, Don, Raymond, Lola Stoneberg and Joyce Mason.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Mentzer (Kathy) of Early, IA, Karen Werner (Wayne) of Schaller, IA, Daniel Mentzer of Iowa City, IA and Matthew Mentzer (Katherine) of Eldridge, IA; his grandchildren, Curtis Mentzer (Kelly Burke), Kristina Spence (Bradley), Michael Mentzer (Angie), Michelle Johnstone (Jeff), Stephannie Culbert (Aaron), Trenton Werner (Diana), Clayton Werner (Ying), Ryan Mentzer and Sophia Mentzer; and his great grandchildren, Isaia, Mariana Martinez, Maddux Spence, Colton, Caden Mentzer, Lucas Smith, Aubrey, Sydney Johnstone, Logan, Kyra Gibbins, Allen Brenner, Daynia and Tristan Werner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
