She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clarence Langbein and Laura Caroline Meyer Langbein; her husbands, Charles Wesley Hokanson and Lt. Colonel Olav Njus; and her siblings, Arthur Langbein and Arlene Riley.
She is survived by: her daughter Jane Esther Hokanson Hawks (Edward) of Underwood, IA; her granddaughter Jennifer Hawks (Ken Peterman); her great grandchildren, Emma Hawks Peterman of Encinitas, CA. and Katherine Hawks Peterman of Encinitas, CA.; and her sisters-in-law, Norma Hokanson of Chandler, AZ and Janet Langbein of Lake View. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
