He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Martin and Clara Martin (Clevor); his daughter Wanda; his granddaughter Brianne Martin; his siblings, Earnest, Raymond, Patricia Schossow, Lorraine Lund and Charlotte Martin; and his brother-in-law Mike Dick.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Martin of Sac City; his children, Dennis Martin (Lisa) of Frederick, Colorado, David Martin (Brenda) of Sherman, Texas, Doug Martin (Deb) of Branson, Missouri, Allayna Sanchez (Carlos) of Fonda, Iowa and Chelsea Rose (Stephen) of Des Moines, Iowa; his stepdaughters, Traci Cooper (Roger) of Kuna, Idaho and Cori Wilson of Sac City; his grandchildren, Travis Martin, Dylan Martin, Rochelle Anderson, Nathan Martin, Aaron Martin, Daniel, Chase, Lilly, Malachi Rose, Emma, Chris and Mia Sanchez; and his stepgrandchildren, Kelli, Sandi and Daniel Hines. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
