With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna D. Smith of Sabula, Iowa, born in Clinton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 26, 2024 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Ottens and Nelletta "Nellie" Ottens (Burke); her parents-in-law, Clifford and Ella Smith; her siblings, Mary Hoyer, Gerladine "Gerri" Bruckman and Daniel Ottens; and her sister-in-law Jan Ottens.
She is survived by: her husband Clifton A. "Bud" Smith; her daughters, Shonda Qualman (Curt) of Fulton, IL and Nicole Smith (Lee Foreman) of Clinton, IA; her grandchildren, Avery, Emily, Leah Qualman, Austin and Ella Stage; and her siblings, Sandi Johnson (Michael) of Thomson, IL and Philip Ottens (Wendy) of Fulton, IL..
A memorial has been established to The Early American Crafters at Heritage Canyon in Fulton, IL.
