She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Kiefer and Mabel Kiefer (Bentley); her husband Ralph Hemesath; her brother Warren Kiefer (Rosie); her brother-in-law George Cosbohn; and her granddaughter Sarah Williams.
She is survived by: her former husband Winfred Mott; her children, Julie Williams of Valley City, Lori Lyness (William) of Rowley and Kevin Mott (Jeanine) of St. Louis, Missouri; her grandchildren, Dalton Williams, Abby Mullin (Jeremy), Alecia Williams (Shane), Adam Lyness (Morgan), Emily Mott, Logan Mott and Moriah Mott; and her sister Shirley Cosbohn of Texas. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
