He was predeceased by: his parents, Oral Heathman and Ina Heathman; and his siblings, Frederick Heathman, Ila Wall, Elsie Boyles, John H. Heathman, Joyce Wall, Robert "Bob" Heathman, Donald "Butch" Heathman, Glenn Heathman and Terry Heathman.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Heathman of Ryan; his children, Krista Brady (John) of Walker, Steven Heathman (Vanessa) of Cedar Rapids, Corey Smock of Manchester, Chad Petersen of Quasqueton and Katie Petersen of Ryan; his grandchildren, Mat Brady, Katelyn Brady, Mary Petersen, Keith Daniels, Tyler Daniels, Kayleigh Daniels, Kaylee Harford and Clara Heathman; his great grandchild Milo Ianson; his brother Marvin Hall (Susan) of West Liberty; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by many extended family members including nieces, nephews, and chosen friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service (925 W Main St, Manchester, IA 52057). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
