We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2021, at the age of 86, Phyllis Peterson of Ruthven, Iowa, born in Emmetsburg, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Ruehle and Lu Ruehle (Bigelow); her husband Jerald Peterson; her son Joe; her brothers, Bruce and Don Ruehle; her siblings-in-law, Jean Ruehle, Kay Ruehle, Marge Ruehle and Terry Menefee; and her close friend Cliff Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Jim (Julie Peterson), Bill (Diane Peterson), Ann Harris of Ruthven and Sue Peterson of Ruthven, Iowa; her grandchildren, Derek Peterson, Jared Peterson, Jennifer Wagner, Jessica Peterson, Eric Peterson, Mike Harris and Jon Harris; and her siblings, Gene Ruehle of Hugo, Jerry Ruehle of Ruthven and Jan Menefee of Casa Grande, Arizona. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given to Zion Lutheran Church in Ruthven.
