He is survived by: his parents, Marvin Neer and Sue Neer (Abrahamson); his former spouse Robyn Schlutz; his children, Avery Collins (Riley), Emery Neer, Shelby Lucas (Kurt), Emily Conner (Weston) and Jessica Anderson (Zach Goemaat); his grandchildren, Nora, Mia and Lennex; his brother Jim Neer (Becki); his nieces, Jessica, Marin, Nora and Tori; his nephew T. J.; his fiancée Kellie Baker; and his brother Jeff Neer (Mandy).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Russell Volunteer Fire Department or to the family.
