He was predeceased by: his father Scott J. DeHoedt. He is survived by: his mother Helen Louise DeHoedt (Caldwell); his wife Lori; his daughter Cassandra DeHoedt; his grandsons, Parker and Truman; and his sisters, Sue Clark (Darrell) and Patricia Robertson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lucas County Health Center or Faith United Methodist Church in Russell.
