He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Werts and Ruth Werts (Deutschle); and his son Todd Anthony Werts. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Werts (Katie) and Jaci Ripperger (Tom); his wife Ellen "Pete"; his grandchildren, Drake, Delaney (Chandler) and Kinser (Sammie); his siblings, Rhea Weideman (Craig), Mark Werts (Nadene) and Lynn Stuart (Freddie); and his parents-in-law, Debie Keiser (Daryl), Rick Peters (Sheila) and Carole Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
