He is survived by: his children, Steven Frist (Audrey), Julie Seiwert (Don) and Diane Hemann (Jeff); his grandchildren, Allison Chen (Lin), Phillip Seiwert (Lucy), Collin Hemann (Hanna), Alec Hemann (Ellie), Jacob Frist, Gabriel Frist and Noah Frist; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Chen and Henry Chen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kiya Koda Humane Society in Indianola in his name.
