He is survived by: his wife Vickie Kleinschmidt; his sons, Michael David Leer Jr. and Chadwick Ian Leer; his grandchildren, Clint Huemann, Kari, Deejay and Tucker Leer; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Huemann and Ryleigh Robinson; and his siblings, Arnie, Caroline Darlene, Dwight and Diane Preceding.
