She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervyn Stewart and Bessie Stewart (Hennick); her husband Richard Leaman; her daughter Gloria Darter; her siblings, Ruby Thorson, Truman, Wilbur, Don and Gordon Stewart; and her siblings-in-law, Claude Stansberry, Don Thorson, Vernon Wamsley, Elayne Stewart, Dorothy Stewart and Mabel Stewart.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Garl (Jerry) of Nora Springs, Nancy Walker (Bill) of Clear Lake, Jerry Leaman (Linda) of Clear Lake, Rita Fuller (Dennis) of Bismarck, Peggy Hanson (Joel) of Nora Springs and Rick Leaman (Debra) of Nora Springs; her sisters, Mary Stansberry and Norma Wamsley; and her sisters-in-law, Juanita Stewart and June Wentworth.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home (1205 S Main St, Charles City, IA 50616). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
