He is survived by: his wife Judy Eckard of Spirit Lake; his daughter Kristi Eckard (Dan Garrett) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Megan Pearson (Scott) and Harrison Eckard-Garrett; his daughter Robyn Rasmussen of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Gus and Walt Rasmussen; his siblings, Lois Kohns and Marv Eckard; and his sisters-in-law, Dianna Eckard and Louise Eckard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
