We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2019, at the age of 92, Gordon Bentley (Royal, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bentley and Helen Bentley (Lacy); his sister Mary Jo (Arnold Coffin); his brothers-in-law, Darwin Fink and Bill Sturm; and his granddaughter Lou Ann Bentley.

He is survived by: his spouse Patricia Joerger; his sons, David of Fairbank and Duane of Fairbank; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Fink of Fairbank, Betty Sturm of Estelline, SD and Charles Joerger (Cleo) of Fairbank. He is also survived by one daughter, Mary (Joe) College of Earlham; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
