He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hallford and Mona Hallford (Shelley); his sister Martha Jane Gorham (Lamar); his niece Mona Jo; and his siblings, Lloyd Hallford (Frances Huggins), Carmie Thompson (William) and Rebecca Hallford.

He is survived by: his sister Gale Frame (Eric) of Roanoke; and his friend John Lamb of Spencer, Iowa.. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and many friends.
