He was predeceased by: his parents, John Devere and Martha Elizabeth Grover (Basquin); his parents-in-law, Guy and Mildred Raney; his daughter Annette; and his granddaughter Erin Wessels.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Timothy Grover (Debra) of Pleasant Hill, IA, Anthony Grover (Jean) of Wildwood, MO and Diane Grover of Independence; his grandchildren, Emily Bainter (Jesse), Abigail Grover, Matthew Grover (Lauren), Tanya Grover (Tyler Shepherd), Sophia Grover (Eric Kremer) and Alicia Janes (Logan); his great grandchildren, Isaac, Owen, Vera Charlotte Bainter, Kellin Vogel, Teagan Dostanic, Layton and Acelyn Janes; and his siblings, Ruby Marks (late Roger), Gladys Corkery (Dwight), William, Guy (Shirley), James (Colleen), Leland and Ruth Hansen (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established and will be used to contribute to organizations close to Max's heart.
