He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul "Bud" R. Lewis and Mary Ann Lewis (Steele); and his siblings, Jimmy Lewis and Denise Feeney. He is survived by: his former wife Julie Lewis; his wife Ellen Gay of Rose Hill; his children, Jack Lewis of Oskaloosa, Matt Lewis of Oskaloosa, Tiffany Tewell of Coralville, Justin Goodman of Ottumwa, Jeff Scott of Oskaloosa, Paula Scharlau (Rod) of Grimes, Pauline Phillips of Kansas and Laura Fernald (Nathan) of Rose Hill; his grandchildren, Nathan Norton, Kilie Norton, Kira Lewis, Zoey Lewis, Noah Goodman, Brady Aunstach, Chandler Wyatt, Blake Wyatt, Serenity Scott, Valin Scott and Chloe Goodman; his siblings, Diane Else (Brett) of Oskaloosa and Bill Lewis (Shannon) of Beacon; and his cousin Dean Lewis.
