He is survived by: his wife Judith Andrews (Judy); his children, Sheryl Putz (Steve) of Forest City, IA, Cindy White (Dan) of Nevada, IA and Steve Van Houweling (Melissa) of Oskaloosa, IA; his grandchildren, Christina Goodlaxson (Allen) of St. Anthony, IA, Kelli Cartee (Tyler) of Austin, MN, Brett Putz (Jen) of Boone, IA, Tyler Putz of San Diego, CA, Josh Putz of San Diego, CA, Brooke Seddon (Derek) of Knoxville, IA and Blake Van Houweling of Oskaloosa; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Goodlaxson and Wrenley Seddon; his brother Robert Van Houwelingen (Lois) of Pella, IA; his nephews, David Van Houwelingen (Brenda) and Dennis Van Houwelingen (Maya); his niece Denise Hansen (Scott); his sister-in-law Barbara Messer of Spring Hill, KS; and his niece Kathy Messer (Jose Moreira) of Pontevedra, Spain. He is also survived by many cousins and good friends.
