He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Sindergard and Pearl Sindergard (Nelson); his brothers, Kenny, Darwin and Darrel; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Sindergard and Judy Lubinus; and his parents-in-law, Wilbur and Janet Cooper.

He is survived by: his wife DeAnn Cooper; his sister Joyce Ennis (Pat) of Clarion; his sisters-in-law, Annette Werner (David) of Fort Dodge and Cheryl Sindergard of Plover; his nieces and nephews, Mark Sindergard (Jeanne) of Plover, Daniel Meythaler (Britt) of Jefferson, Kenny Sindergard (Donna), Kevin Sindergard, Todd Sindergard (Angie), Angela Hansen (Bill), Tammy Hagerty (Matt), Kelly Spencer, Kim Kerr (Tim), Tracey Henderson and Kris Watne (Doug); his great-nephew Grayson Meythaler; and also, Paxton and Hoyt Cundiff.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Paula J. Baber Hospice House in Fort Dodge, Iowa or UnityPoint Hospice in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

“Sad to learn that Curt was called to his heavenly home so young!! He is just a few months older than our son. Can’t imagine life without him. Sounds like he was a very special man. Remembering back in 1993 three couples NE of Plover all had babies later in life - Hanishs, Sindergards and Hiltons. People thought there was something in the water!! 😊 Our thoughts and prayers are with Curt’s family and friends. 🥲🙏🙏”
