She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack McWilliams and Joyce McWilliams (Beach); her parents-in-law, Richard and Bette Strum; her sister Connie Peter; her brother-in-law Calvin Peter; and her sister Karen.

She is survived by: her husband Lon Strum of Roland; her children, Jen Schuller (Greg) of Ankeny, Nathan Strum of Ames, Adam Strum of Roland, Brett Strum of Ames, Amber Strum of Ames, Nina Strum, Jayden, Traci of Roland and Tela Dudley (Jacob); her grandchildren, Reece, Rylee and Harley of Zearing; her child Stacey Mancino (Alex); her grandchildren, Malia and Dominic of Snohomish, WA; her child Skyler Strum of West Virginia; her brothers, Craig McWilliams of Nevada and Doug McWilliams (Debbie) of Wasilla, AK; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Strum (Marge) of New Hampton and Donalyn Peter of Osage. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
