We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2022, at the age of 71, Joy Lou Ann Thye (Roland, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eric Hermanson and Bernice Hermanson; and her daughters, Bandung, Indonesia and Christine.

In lieu of flowers, her daughters ask that instead donations be given to the Roland Library, Harvest E-Free Church, Riverside Bible Camp in Story City, or the Butterfly Freedom House in Ames.
