We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2023, at the age of 91, Ronald Paul Petersen of Rockwell, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Viktor Petersen and Eleonora Petersen (Peitersen); his brother Fred Petersen; his foster brother William "Bill" Shaffer; and also Joel Petersen.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Petersen (Harrington) of Rockwell; his children, Carl Petersen (LuAnn) of Jackson, NE, Mary Etta Miller (Bryan) of Rockwell and Ruthann Murphy (Thomas) of Dougherty; his foster son Rick Feuring (Garner); and his sisters, Dorothea Smith of Del City, OK and Nancy Corporon (Robert) of Dougherty. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
