He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Marzen and Louise Marzen (Schumacher); his wife Dolores Spiller; his brothers, Bernard and Leo; and his grandson Drew Marzen.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Marzen (Sally), Veronica "Vicki" Labianca, Michael Marzen (Connie), Anthony "Tony" Marzen (Char), Michelle Deverell and Scott Marzen (Tawnya).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital.
