He is survived by: his son Mike Lorentzen (Karrie) of Mason City; and his grandchildren, Jordan Lorentzen (Alecia) of Mason City, Devin Lorentzen (Dalcy) of Manly, Joshua Lorentzen (Danielle) of Mason City and Ashley Murrel (Richie) of Mason City.
