He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Peters and Edna Peters (Markwardt) of Rockwell, IA.; and his son-in-law Mike Demory. He is survived by: his wife Bev Wickwire; his daughters, Monica McLaughlin (John) of Kensett, IA and Carrie Demory of Rockwell, IA; his grandchildren, Devin Lorentzen (Dalcy), Amber Behne (Spencer), Ashley McLaughlin (Chris Hagerman) and Nathan Bond (Stephi Lyles); his siblings, Lauralye Peters and Carolyn AbuJobarah; his sister-in-law Nancy Beenken; and his parents-in-law, Gordon and June Wickwire.

Due to Covid there will be no public visitation.
