She was predeceased by: her parents, William Delford and Lena Mary 'Baker' Esser; her son Steven Mathus; her grandson Steven Moser; and her siblings, Alice Stricker, Marcella Esser, Betty Larson, Dorothy Ross, Rose Wihlm and Leo "Bud" Esser.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence Kirchhoff; her children, Andra (Clete Moser) of Cedar Rapids, Patty Hasson of Cedar Rapids, John (Stephanie Kirchhoff) of Cedar Rapids, Kimberly Pelky of Wisconsin, Doug Kirchhoff of Cedar Rapids, Julie (Scott Sampson) of Midwest City, OK, Jayme Kirchhoff of Mason City and Mark (Vickki) of Clear Lake; and her sister Leone Conrad. She is also survived by many grandchildren, many many Great Grandchildren and several Great Great Grandchildren.
