He is survived by: his daughter Pam Sargent (Dan) of Ames; his granddaughters, Amy Schmidt (Corey) of Ames and Katherine Walker (Brian) of Ames; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Sawyer, Penelope and Ridley Schmidt; and his wife Joan Meinking. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
