He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Onnen and Adelle Alsop Onnen; his stepmother Vera Onnen; his half-brother Paul Owen; and his wife Irene Mae Clark Maulsby.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Angela Akers (John) of Indianola and Renee Maulsby of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Tamara Overton (Jon) of Indianola and Derek Akers (Sarah) of Beaverdale; and his great grandchildren, Greta, Adaline, Kaitlynn and Nathan. He is also survived by other relatives and a host of friends.
