She was predeceased by: her husband H. Mervin Berg of Paul's Lutheran Church; her parents, George Zinnel and Helen Zinnel (Sommerfeld); and her siblings, Marvin, Delmer, John Zinnel and Mardella Schultz.
She is survived by: her son Bryant Berg (Joann); her siblings, Monte Berg (Rebecca) of Ames and Kole Berg of Olathe, KS; her grandchildren, Owen Berg, Brittany Fernandes (Marcelo), Brooke Kostecki (Joseph), Blake Berg and Megan Berg; her great grandchildren, Mia and Leonardo Fernandes; her brother George Zinnel (Harriet) of Rockwell City; and her siblings-in-law, Darleen Zinnel of Pomeroy, Jean Zinnel of Rockwell City, Judy Berg of Rockford, IL, Shirley Berg of Rockwell City, Norman Larson of Badger and Tony Hardyk of Sioux City. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
