With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phil Heinlen of Rockwell City, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on November 2, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, E. M. "Bud" Heinlen and Luella "Rene" Heinlen (Yeager); and his siblings, Delores "Dee" Harman, Peggy "Peg" Hildreth and Denis Ray Heinlen.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Danielson; his children, Krista Upson of Council Bluffs and Steven Heinlen (Dawn) of Rockwell City; his grandchildren, Elizabeth "Ellie" Casey, Brody Upson, Kolbe Upson and Aubrey Heinlen; and his siblings, Carol Collins of Rockwell City, Iowa. and Dennis Heinlen of Rockwell City, Iowa..
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Palmer & Swank Funeral Home (528 Main St, Rockwell City, IA 50579). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (527 Main St, Rockwell City, IA 50579).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the family for a future scholarship in Phil's memory.
