He was predeceased by: his father Rolland Grage; his sister Cheryl Barkve; and his former wife Carol. He is survived by: his mother Mary Grage (Christensen) of Lake City, Iowa; his daughters, Elizabeth Grage of Belle Plaine, Deianeira Grage of Iowa City and Arieanna Grage of Iowa City, Iowa; his grandchildren, Alivia Griffel, Trenton Griffel and Journi Grage; his siblings, Karen Soenen (Ken) of Rockwell City, Iowa and Butch Grage (Helen) of Perry, Iowa; his brother-in-law Gary Barkve; his niece Ann Zehner (Dave) of Spring Hill, Tennessee; his nephews, John Soenen (Beth) of Tiffin, Matt Soenen (Nicole) of Rockwell City and Will Grage of Perry, Iowa; and his great-nephews, Jackson, Parker, Ryan, Carter and Miles. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
