Kimberly Kay Nelson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2025, at the age of 66, Kimberly Kay Nelson of Rockwell City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerrold Sexe and Colleen Sexe (Soop); her in-laws, Earl and Esther Nelson; and her granddaughter London Ahlrichs.
She is survived by: her husband Duane Nelson; her children, Lacey Ahlrichs (Ron) of Pocahontas, Kelly Simmons (Chris) of Fort Dodge and Jerrod Nelson (Iryna Kogut) of Romeoville, IL; her grandchildren, Teagan, Ella, Preston Ahlrichs and Finley Simmons; and her siblings, Ron Sexe and Kristi Ingleby.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (615 N 15th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the charitable discretion of the family.
