She is survived by: her daughter Jenna Hanson (Michael) of Rockwell City; her granddaughter Rowan Hanson; her stepchildren, Sandy Schmieder (Becky Hill), Doug Schmieder (Candi) of Wellman and David Schmieder (Sandy) of Ft. Dodge; her sister Connie Slawson of Lehigh; and her husband Donald "Whitey" Schmieder. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
