He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrel Aden and Yvonne Aden (Brooks); and his son-in-law Harry Carvalho. He is survived by: his wife Marianne Possehn; his children, Michael Dettman of Spencer, Melissa Dettman of Sac City, Marty Dettman (Sherry) of Jolley, Shanna Carvalho of Rockwell City and Levi Aden-Dull; his grandchildren, Allie Meusburger, Trevor Dettman, Shantell Williams, Ashlynn Dettman, Abigal Aden and Damian Carvalho; his great grandchildren, Ryker Dettman and Oakley Behrens; his siblings, Larry Aden, Shelia Draves (Mike), Cody Aden (Rosemary) and Kelly Michik; and his former spouse Rayne Essing.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Palmer & Swank Funeral Home (528 Main St, Rockwell City, IA 50579). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
