Donald L. Thompson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald L. Thompson of Rockwell City, Iowa, who passed away on October 17, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Thompson (Wolff) and Clarence L. Thompson; his wife Doris A. Thompson (Gregg); and his brothers, Blake, Robert, Weston and Frank.
He is survived by: his children, Lorinda Lamb (Alan West) of Minneapolis, Joan Fulton (Craig) of Fairfield, Thomas Thompson (Jay Weiss) of St and John Thompson (John Fiedler); his grandchildren, Clinton (Shelby), Ann (Brandon Mann) and Scott Calhoun (Kelly); his stepgrandchildren, Ryan and Tyler Fulton; his great grandchildren, Emma, Allison, Henry, Weston and Macy; his stepgreat-grandchild Sawyer Fulton; and his sister Aleene Maguire of Rockwell City, Iowa. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given in Don's memory to the College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri or to the Knoxville Church of the Nazarene.
