He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Grant and Jeannette Grant (Medd); his siblings, Mavis Irene Grant and Richard Grant; and his wife Shirley E. Yeager.

He is survived by: his children, Larry Grant (Mary) of Fort Collins, CO, Barry Grant (Bonnie) of Urbandale, Becky Waller (Jerry) of River Falls, WI and Scott Grant (Diane) of Algona; and his sister Janice Crawford (Ronald) of Washington, IA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
