He is survived by: his children, Paul Stumpf (Rita) of Rockwell City, IA, Nancy Fulton (Russell) of Omaha, NE, Jane Gundvaldson (Wayne) of Gretna, NE, Alan Stumpf (Judy Brady) of Walden, NY, Pamela Pezanosky (Tom) of Spring Hill, TN, Patrice Toledo (Paul) of Des Moines, IA and Karin Kelley (late Shawn) of Lincoln, NE; his son-in-law Mark (Shoemaker); his grandchildren, Nicolle Zawacki (Joe), Stephanie Klaffke (Beau), Allison Kinney (Colter), Mariah Martin (Andrew), Amanda Fulton, Mindy Stohler (Jon), Kellie Hayworth (Colin), Brenda Larsen (Ryan), Amy Smith (Jake), Ashley Stumpf, Katie Schreiner (Devon), John Stumpf, Thomas Pezanosky, Meredith Pezanosky, Carter Whalen, Hunter Kelley, Logan Kelley, Jackson Kelley, Eric Shoemaker and Matthew Shoemaker; his great grandchildren, JP, Bridgette, Piper, Kendall, Scarlett, Hayden, Harris, Holden, Josephine, Alexander, Ian, Everett, Evelyn, Owen, Brody, Ainsley, Jace, Amelia, Leo, Kylie Brady, Taso Karabelas, Jack and Connor Brady; his sister Doris Dickerson; and his sister-in-law Alberta Carlson.

Dale also donated blood on a regular basis well into his 70's.
