He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Layman and Elizabeth "Betty" Layman (Winebrinner); his brother Dick Layman; and his nephew Christopher Meusburger. He is survived by: his children, Angie Spake (Eric) of Sioux City and Jay Layman (Nicole) of Sioux City; his brother Jerry Layman (Sharon) of Rockwell City; and his wife Linda Meusburger. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the discretion of the family.
