He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Johnson and Ann Johnson (Hansen); his sister Phyllis Stoffregen; his parents-in-law, Bill and Doris Bruggeman; his brother Scott Johnson; and his brother-in-law Mark Remsburg.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bruggeman; his children, Adam Johnson (Amanda) of Rockwell City and Jill Brock (Jeff) of Platte City, MO; his grandchildren, Brantley Johnson, Hadley, AnnaBeth and Bowen Brock; his siblings, Elaine Lange (Tim) of Rockwell City, Michelle McKinnon (Mac) of Zephyrhills, FL and Wayne Johnson (Vicki) of Ashland, MO; and his siblings-in-law, Sheila Remsburg of Lake City, Cathy Lietz (Mark) of Yetter and Brett Bruggeman (Kelly) of Stillwater, MN.
