It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Bates-Staudt of Rockford, Iowa, born in Perry, Iowa, who passed away on July 25, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Bates and Sharon Bates (Wilson); and her son Matthew Bates. She is survived by: her husband Terry Staudt; her sons, Zachary Bates and Jacob Staudt; her grandchildren, Braden Espinosa and Kalen Staudt; her brothers, Donald Bates and Edwin Bates (Lisa); and her brother-in-law Gerald Staudt (Kelly). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
