He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Cook and Zelma Cook (Thomasson); his brother Leslie Cook; and his nephews, Larry Schroeder and Wayne Cook.
He is survived by: his sisters, Cletha Daugherty of Rockford, Anna Wheeler (Ben) of Queen City and Helen Seddon (Willard) of Mystic, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces/nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Zoar Cemetery and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
